An Intro from Sarah

Hi there!

I am so happy you are here and wanting to know more about us!

I'm Sarah and I am a mother to a pretty awesome 15yr old daughter (when she isn't all teenagey) and have an awesome big family to share in my insane crafty ideas. I have a business, SEA Creations, where I get to create and sell those wonderfully insane ideas! I love books, going to book signings, where sometimes I sell the bookish items I create, and also host an event each year here on the Space Coast of Florida - Space Coast Book Lovers or SCBL, with said awesome family! (If you've never gone to a book signing, check it out, it's overwhelmingly fun). I also love the beach, which is a huge inspiration for me in my creations. My maiden name initials even spell out SEA, so I'm all about it! (Thanks for that Mom and Dad!)

Elephants are my spirit animal, and I think Owls and Turtles like to join in on that here and there, too. Hobbies (outside of crocheting) are singing, painting, sailing, and keeping my hoarding tendencies at bay <-- really a true story, and I'm horrible at it.

My crocheting story (in case you're wondering) ;)

I have been crocheting a little over 20yrs off and on thanks to my aunt and a long car ride coming up where they were like, hey, this will give her something to do! So teach me she did, and that was the end! The last few years I've been more involved in it and learning more stitches. I love amigurumi (I always pronounce it wrong) and the Suzette Stitch, but I'm sure it'll change by tomorrow, or the next day haha! I collect yarn, all of it, and I think I'm slowly beginning to have an obsession with artsy hooks <-- you might need to keep me in check. Or, pray for my bank account, one of the two.

This is just a snapshot of me and my life, and as we grow together, I'm sure you'll learn more and hopefully you aren't scared away :P
