Our twisted world
Welcome, twisted friends, to twisting your world. Jess and Sarah wanted to create a fun space for yarn-crazed addicts such as ourselves to learn and grow together. Anyone else agonize over trying to read a paper or re-watch a video 50 times in order to try to understand a gorgeous pattern you just HAD to do? Well, same here. Jess and Sarah are primarily self-taught through videos and agonizing hours of deciphering, with a lot of frogging and trial and error.
Some background on us twisty kids, Jess is a single mama of 3 absolutely amazing children, attends online college and started crochet as a way to attempt to keep what little sanity she has left (FYI, it did not work, just added a new obsession to her life <3). She moved to Florida about 2 years ago from PA. Jess loves books, coffee, wine, all things yarn, anything Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Arrowverse.... she's a nerdy one! She also has her new craft business, Twisty World, to hand in hand with this adventure.
Sarah is a mother to a pretty awesome 15yr old daughter (when she isn't all teenagey) and has an awesome big family to share in her insane crafty ideas. Sarah's business, SEA Creations, where she gets to create and sell those wonderfully insane ideas, is another passion of hers along with her love of books, going to book signings, where sometimes she sells the bookish items she creates. Sarah also loves the beach, which is a huge inspiration for her creations. Her maiden name initials even spell out SEA!
Jess and Sarah met at work, and as fate would have it, Sarah became Jess's supervisor. SOUL FRIENDS alert! It did not take long for them to be talking about their love of crochet, books, coffee (Sarah brought a different coffee mug everyday), wine, and all sorts of nerdy loves that they share. Including being fellow Griffyndors! 8 months later, Sarah came to Jess with a wild hair to start a page together, and naturally, she was in! Let’s do it, a fun place to banter and do what they do best, while sharing their passion (or obsession, whichever you prefer) of all things twisty and helping others to learn new things!
