Gag Gifts Continued... 😆

We know how much you loved our last gag gift idea, so we had to keep it going, I mean, who doesn't want their fun in spreading good cheer in inappropriate ways?!

This week we are coming at you with another fun item, erected to keep your lipstick, chapstick, or anything else you want to stuff it with....a Peen Keychain! 😳😉

Yep. And this pattern was written by yours truly, hi, that's me --> Sarah *waves* And why a chapstick holder you ask? Welp. Let me tell you. 1. Why the heck not? I mean, it's ridiculously funny, a shock factor, and come on, that's kinda the point of gag gifts, am I right?! And 2. Welp, I go to Book conventions (many being heavily romance themed), as many of you know, and I have gotten a lipstick on occasion that is molded and shaped like a peen...truth! So, I thought why not have a case for it that yells loud and clear what is inside? Since, you don't see it otherwise 😆 so there you have it. A Peen Keychain.

Let's get to the pattern, shall we...

What you'll need:

Worsted Weight yarn, any color, be bold!

Size 4 crochet hook

Marker

Needle

Scissors

Keychain

Open mind 😆

Notes:

This pattern is worked in the round, amigurumi style. If your lipstick is longer than the pattern calls for, at round 15, just shove that stick up in there and check for length and add a row or two or three. Nothing wrong with a long peen 😏

And if you don't care about having a holder for your chapstick, but really like the keychain idea, go ahead and stuff this puppy and do rounds #3-15 all the same!

Abbreviations:

Ch: chain

Sc: single crochet

MR: magic ring

Sc2tog: single scrochet 2 stitches together to make 1 stitch

St(s): stitch(s)

Ea: each

Peen Keychain Pattern

Round #1 - MR (6)

Round #2 - 2 sc in ea sts (12) Round #3 -#8 sc all around Round #9 - sc in next st, ch 9 Round #10 - sc in next st, sc in blo in next 9 sts, sc in next 2 sts Round #11 - 15 - sc around Round #16 - sc2tog around Fasten off and weave in to cinch closed.

Balls (make 2, unless its had an accident 😳) Round #1 - Mr (4) *can use the tail of your MR to stuff the balls, so make it longer if you want* Round #2 - 2sc in ea around Round #3-4 - Sc around Round #5 - sc2tog around, fasten off and leave tail for sewing

*I didn't stuff my balls (outside of the starting tail), I mean, we don't stuff our bras, right? But if you feel like these balls need to be stuffed, use some extra strands of yarn, and bam, stuffed balls.*

Sew its balls to the bottom, around row 14 or 15, depending on how high (or low) you want them to sit 😏 & if you think you need some bigger balls, add a round or two more in between rounds 3-4.

Hook in your keychain to the top and you now have a great Peen Keychain that doubles as a chapstick/lipstick holder 🙌🙌 you're welcome.
