Hey there Twisty friends!
We know, we know, you’re wondering - where in the world is Carmen Sandiego?! Oh, wait, we mean, Jess and Sarah?! (And for those of you are in the know, now it’s stuck in your head, you’re welcome ;) )
Guys - we have had quite the end of the year in this place we call life. I, Sarah here, had some art shows that took up most of December, not to mention the holiday parties, gatherings, alllll the baking, and keeping up with inventory for said shows. Whew! And it doesn’t look like it’s slowing down, either - eek! That’s a good thing, right? Right.
Both Jess and I had birthdays this past month - cheers to another trip around the sun! Woot! As well, finished up another semester of college for us both. Whew. Oh and Christmas. That happened, too - hah!
And I, Jess here, on a personal note, I lost my brother last month, and I would like to say thank you to everyone that sent your love and thoughts to me and my family. I have been a little more introverted as a result, plus all the craziness of the holidays, doing back-to-back training classes for work and all the kiddos activities. Sarah and my ducks were not in a row. They were raving all over, but we are reigning them in!
So, definitely a crazy insane end to the year. We know we basically disappeared on you guys, but truly, we could barely keep up. And we’re sorry that we did, but, that also means - more awesomeness in this coming year!! We can say 2020 and 2021 was just one very very long year, right? Right. So, let’s head into the new year with some fun coming up and we are ready to get back to our normal selves…well, as normal as we could be, anyway ;)
Here’s to you and yours, wishing you a very Happy New Year, and we hope you had a wonderful holiday season. From Hanukkah to Yule to Christmas to Kwanza to Boxing Day - and all the other holidays in between, let us keep those cozy warm thoughts into the coming year and start off bright and shining!
Keep twisting and we can’t wait to share what we have in store!
~Jess and Sarah

Missed you guys. It is always busy in December. I have both my parents birthdays 92 an 87 and the 65th anniversary this year, my best friends birthday, my dad had 2 eye surgeries and an ER visit for blood sugar 567 normal is 70-100 for him under 160 as he is type 2 diabetic. Well he is now insulin dependent and I have had to take on extra caregiving as it is all too much for my Mom. The as Sarah and Jessica know there is all the mandatory overtime at work, Christmas which we celebrate on whatever day I can get off once my brother and his family get down from Georgia and we all get together. This…
